Finlay is now making leaps and bounds in language development. Recently this has including making animal sounds and mimicking what enivronmental noises he can hear. As we were given some free passes to the local petting zoo, we decided to see how he felt about meeting these animals in person....well it turns out to be more fun to run madly down hills and fall over, to chase geese, to bang fences and generally be a hooligan than pet the animals, but we did manage to get some cute photos of the interactions.
....I also realise another important woollen is missing from his wardrobe. The woollie vest for running around the house in winter. So I am making one using the Bob pattern from Rowan Babies using left over yarn and sale bin yarn....a mixture of alpaca, merino and homespun.
Well written article.

Finlay looks so cute in all his handknits, and obviously had fun at the farm too. I love the new vest you are knitting too.
